About us

We are rebuilding the restaurant queue around one number: when will my food be ready?

Why we built Lazy Bite

Every weekday, millions of people spend their lunch break standing in a queue or staring at a menu they already know. The food is not slow. The sequence is: you arrive, then you order, then you wait.

Lazy Bite flips the sequence. You order first, choose the exact minute your food should be ready, and the kitchen schedules your dishes so they finish as you walk in. The restaurant gets a paid order with a deadline. You get your lunch break back.

How it works for restaurants

Kitchens already plan around time — they just do it blind. We give them the demand curve in advance: how many orders each 15-minute slot can hold, what must start cooking now, and what is due at 1:15 PM. When a kitchen is overwhelmed, one tap trims capacity and customers immediately see fewer slots.

Careers

We are a small team in Bengaluru working on scheduling, payments and kitchen operations. If restaurant operations or realtime systems are your thing, write to careers@lazybite.app.
